3.0 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for admission into the BSc degree programme a candidate must normally have satisfied the minimum conditions of entry to degree studies for this University as prescribed in the General Regulations.

3.1. For normal entry into the BSc degree, a candidate must have passed 5 ‘O’ Level subjects or their equivalents including English Language, Science and Mathematics and have obtained a pass at ‘A’ Level in at least two of the following subjects or their recognised equivalents:
• Geography
• Mathematics
• Physics or Physical Science
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Computer Science
• Philosophy/ Critical Thinking

3.1.1 Under special circumstances, a candidate with a pass at ‘A’ level in one of the subjects listed above and a pass at “A” level in any other second subject may be admitted into the BSc degree programme.

3.2. While the above requirements apply to entry to the BSc degree programme as a whole, the following specific qualifications are normally required by the indicated departments for entry into first year study in that department.

Geography and Environmental Science ‘A’ level Geography
Mathematics A’ level Mathematics
Physics ‘A’ level Physics or Physical Science and ‘A’ level Mathematics

3.3. A candidate who does not meet normal entry requirements may, subject to the approval of Senate, be admitted to a programme on special grounds.
