SIX YEAR RE-APPOINTMENT AS VICE CHANCELLOR

Great Zimbabwe University Chairman of Council, Mr. S.J. Chihambakwe, Council, Management, Senate, Staff and Students extend their hearty congratulations to the Vice Chancellor of Great Zimbabwe University, Professor Rungano Jonas Zvobgo on his re-appointment as Vice Chancellor of the same institution of higher learning. Professor Zvobgo was awarded by His Excellency and Chancellor of Great Zimbabwe University President Robert Gabriel Mugabe an unprecedented 6 year term of service.

Professor Zvobgo was first inaugurated as Vice Chancellor of Great Zimbabwe University in October 2012. Since then the Visionary leader has demonstrated astute leadership. He has grown the University from a zero structure to a Multi-Campus University. We wish him well in his second term as he continues to pursue his vision and to fly the flag of the University high.
