The school was named after Gary Magadzire, it has the following departments:-
Simon Muzenda
The Simon Muzenda School Of Culture And Heritage Studies, named after the late former Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde Simon Vengesayi Muzenda, has programs in various departments which are:-
- Department of Archaeology and Museum Studies
- Department of Heritage Studies
- Department of Performing Arts
The Munhumutapa School Of Commerce, named after the Munhumutapa empire, has programs in various departments which are:-
President Robert G Mugabe
The Robert Mugabe School Of Education, named after the President of the Republic Of Zimbabwe, Cde Robert G. Mugabe (pictured on the left), has various programs that are found in the the following departments:
- Department of Adult and Continuing Education
- Department of Curriculum Studies
- Department of Educational Foundations
- Department of Teacher Development
There is also one centre within the school, i.e. Jairosi Jiri Centre For Special Needs Education.
The Herbert Chitepo Law School, which was named after Herbert Chitepo (pictured on the left) offers the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honours Degree Programme
