GZU COMES THIRD IN THE EDUCATION & TRAINING CATEGORY AT ZITF 2025

Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) has once again demonstrated its growing reputation for innovation and excellence by earning third prize in the highly competitive Education and Training category at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF 2025). Competing alongside the country’s top universities, polytechnics, and teachers’ colleges, GZU’s outstanding exhibition displayed a blend of academic excellence, research innovation, and stakeholder engagement. The University’s stand vividly illustrated the ZITF theme “Industrialisation: Crafting an Integrated Economic Landscape” and GZU’s subtheme “Industrialisation: Upscaling, Massication and Innovation” through its impressive display of agro-innovations, value- added products, sustainable technologies, medicinal innovations, and a vibrant campus radio that played a central role in marketing and stakeholder engagement. This prestigious award underscores GZU’s dedication to delivering high-quality education backed by impactful research.

It stands as a testament to the University’s role in shaping future leaders and contributing meaningfully to national development. Congratulating the team behind the successful exhibition, Vice Chancellor Professor Rungano Zvobgo said: “This achievement is a proud moment for the entire GZU community. I commend our exhibitors for their creativity, professionalism, and dedication.
