How to Register

Registration is done online at www.gzu.ac.zw.

New students receive a Student Registration Handbook that contains information about GZU’s academic policies and procedures as part of their information pack. Details on registration procedures are also included in the offer letter.

Returning students can register once the results from the previous semester are published.

Online Registration

Students can find the online registration link provided on their student portals.

At the start of each semester, students register for their courses online using the Student Portal, after paying the required fees. Faculty members and chairpersons ensure that course selections comply with regulations.  Once online registration is complete, students can collect their student ID. A valid student ID confirms enrollment at the University of Zimbabwe and grants access to all necessary facilities.

How to Confirm or Correct Course Registration

Students receive course confirmation slips that list all registered courses, available either electronically or in print.  It is important for students to verify that all registered courses are accurately reflected and that names are spelled correctly. For any corrections, students should indicate the changes on the course confirmation slip and submit it to the Student Records and Registration office.
