Overview
The Central and Cleaning Services Department at Great Zimbabwe University is dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and conducive environment that supports both working and learning. Our mission is to enhance operational efficiency by providing essential services that include:
- Facility Management: We oversee the allocation of office and housing accommodations,
manage lease agreements, and facilitate the procurement of furniture to ensure that all
facilities meet the needs of our university community. - Logistical Support: Our department plays a vital role in mail delivery between
campuses and ensures that facilities are prepared and ready for university events and
functions. - Community Engagement: We actively organise Monthly Clean-Up Campaigns,
encouraging participation from staff and students and promoting a culture of cleanliness
and responsibility. - Communication and Maintenance: We are responsible for the timely provision of
airtime and communication gadgets, as well as ensuring that repairs on direct and
extension lines are conducted promptly. - Financial Management: We facilitate the timely payment of bills and subscriptions,
ensuring that all services and utilities remain uninterrupted.
